The construction of this special house, located in the hilly landscape of the Sabina, about 950 m as the air from the Novum Forum and the Sanctuary of Vescovio, began in 2016, but to date the works have not yet been completed. The wooden house on one floor has been realized with ecological materials, and consists of a spacious living room with porch, a kitchen with porch, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large garage. It is located on a large piece of land of approximately 3.4 hectares, slightly rolling and predominantly consisting of arable land and pasture. There is also a water source present on the property. The access road to the house, a small country road, is now provisional, but will be formalized and can then be improved and consolidated. The building |
• Description:
The house, built entirely of wood and with ecological materials, has a reinforced concrete foundation. The ventilated ground floor lies on hollow plastic floor elements. The wooden skeletal structure of the house is infilled with wooden "sandwich panels", provided with insulation and a moisture-resistant layer. The exterior would be plastered and painted according to the approved project. The house has a hipped roof, covered with characteristic roof tiles. It is now partly habitable, but still needs to be completed and finished: floor finishing, realization of toilet room and second bathroom, realization of heating system, completion of other technical installations, finishing of exterior and landscaping of garden. |
